Mini-Hops is going green! Instead of continuing to send massive amounts of information via paper, this year Mini-Hops will be posting here on our website:
‘Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Booster Club But Never Had Time to Ask’

Please check here often for all kinds of important information.

The Booster Club conducts a meeting the 2nd Monday of every month at 7:15 in the pre-school gym. December 14th is our next meeting.

Meetings update members on performance results of fundraising activities, review calendar of events and plans for disbursement of funds, and to consider modification of its operations. Booster Club members are requested to attend these meetings to help make decisions and suggestions that will make our gym a better place.

Booster Club Hours Obligation Opportunities:

Mini-Hops Hosted Meets are just one of many ways to get your Booster Club hours in. Sign-up to volunteer and put these dates on your calendar.

Flippin 5K 2009 Results are in!

Latest Meeting Minutes

Booster Club Meeting Minutes for November 9, 2009

· Pro-Shop: The holiday pro-shop will run from 11/30/09- 12/12/09 with all of the proceeds from the sales going to the booster club. Many volunteer hours are available. Look for the sign-up on the board. If you sign up to work the pro-shop please be prepared to be an active salesperson. All of the money will be handled by the front desk. What the sales people need to do is make sure that merchandise is visible, attractive, and fill out a slip for the front desk of what is being purchased. Look at the Mini-Hops website for information. If you have any questions, please contact Janeen Walther at neno@mchsi.com or Karen Dewing at karen.dewing@gmail.com .

· 5K: Is on November 15th. It is behind Minnetonka East Middle School . We currently have 31 people signed up (more than last year are pre-registered). There will be a Port-a-potty there this year. If you have any questions, please contact Heidi Youngman at hyoungman@croixdesign.com or Janeen Walther at neno@mchsi.com .

· Holiday Party: This is for all team children (boys and girls). It will be on December 22, 2009 from 6-8pm. We are looking at sledding hills and hoping for snow. If your child has practice that night, they will still practice until the party begins.

· Boys Meet: We are still looking into locations for this meet. It is being held on 2/27/10- 2/28/10 which is basketball season for many schools so we are having a hard time finding a gymnasium to have the meet in. Robin has called every facility from Orono- Minneapolis. She is still waiting to hear from Minneapolis/Washburn. If you have any suggestions please contact Robin Krier at krier5@comcast.net.

· Big Sister/Little Sister: This program is off to a great start. The girls had a pizza party to meet their “sisters” and the Big Sisters have been making “Good luck” notes for the Little Sisters before meets. The Little Sisters will be reciprocating. At this time the boys’ coaches are not interested in a Big Brother/Little Brother program. If you and/or your child are really interested in this program please speak to James.

· Volunteer Hours: Updated hours are on the board. If your hours are not correct please fill out a note with the corrections needed and put it in the “booster club hours” box which I believe is located in the observation room.

As a reminder for those who were not at the meeting, if you know someone who is not getting the emails please have them contact Rhonda Kullman at rhonda.kullman@yahoo.com with an email address. A few of the emails that I did receive were invalid addresses.

Respectfully submitted,

Rhonda Kullman
