Our Mission -To cultivate and enhance the development of each child for their future-is achieved by promoting a healthy self image, self-confidence, and a strong sense of team and community. Encouraging and dedicated coaches reinforce these principles and contribute significantly to the growth of happy, healthy, high-esteemed youth by building positive relationships not only with the kids, but with the families, too. The soundness of these relationships is Mini- Hops’ greatest strength, ensuring high member retention and securing a solid foundation from which to expand its community footprint.
Minnetonka-Hopkins Gymnastics Association, aka Mini-Hops, is a premier athletics organization in the northwest suburbs of Minneapolis. Established in 1976 as a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, it offers gymnastics and youth fitness activities for ages 18 months to 18 years in a safe, wholesome, family-friendly environment for Minnetonka, Hopkins and the surrounding communities. It is one of the few remaining parent-supported organizations in the country, and a has long and successful tradition of teaching young people to conquer fears, while developing a willingness and ability to attempt new and challenging tasks.
